Hadeeth 7 – Keeping Tongue and Hand from offending others
Abu Musaرضي الله عنه narrated that he asked Allah’s Messenger صلىالله عليه وسلم: whose Islam is the best? (i.e. who is a good Muslim?) the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied, “One who avoids harming Muslimswith his tongue and hands.”[Al-Bukhari]
Assalam Alaikum warahmatullah Wabarakatuh, muslims should be careful about there tongues and hads, so if some one trying to insult others in the public place what’s the solution for that? This was regarding the Ahadeeth 7
Waalaikumasalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakathuhu
If they insult you in public, say Salam and walk away. You dont have to act the way they do
On one occasion, the Prophet ﷺ silently smiled when Abu Bakr (ra), his most noble Companion, refrained from responding to a person who was insulting him. But when Abu Bakr (ra) eventually spoke up, the Prophet ﷺ became angry and left. He ﷺ later explained, “An angel was with you, responding on your behalf. But when you said back to him some of what he said, a devil arrived, and it is not for me to sit with devils.” Collected by Ahmad (9251) and Abu Dawud (4896), and al-Arna’oot deemed it hasan li-ghayrih
