Da’ee got versions – upgrade pending!

One of the greatest Battle with which Islam was challenged was Battle of Trench. With all the enemies coming together, it was a threat to Muslims from all the sides. When Prophet (Sallalahualayhiwasallam) was seriously contemplating the ways to tackle the challenge, Salam al Farsi (radiyallahuanhu) suggested digging a trench as a battle strategy. Alhamdulillaah, Prophet never thought “who is this foreigner advising us?” or he never wondered how this strategy of digging a trench something very novel to Arabia going to work.

Da’wah involves both enjoining good and forbidding evil. It is the second fold where many people forget or miss out. Those who are doing are not able to do well. To do well, one needs wisdom.

Hadeeth 9 – The Influence of Friends

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari رضي الله عنه: I heard Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, “ The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one blowing the bellows. The owner of musk would either offer you some free of charge, or you would buy it from him, or at least you would smell its pleasant odour`; and as for the one who blows the bellows (i.e., the blacksmith), he would either burn your clothes or at least you shall have to smell a repugnant smell.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] ​
