How you can be successful in every interaction?: Islaamic perspective

In Management, many books has been written on the subject “How one can be successful in every interaction?” If I have to mention few of the books, it may run into number of pages. In those books, some of the tips works and some are not. They generally recommend you should develop listening skills, sincere to the one whom you are talking and on and on.
Subhanallaah, Islaam deals the same concept but totally from a different perspective which any Management Gurus could not have thought in their wild imagination. Islam says “Be concious of Allaah azza wajal” which means having Taqwa. Taqwa makes the person ultimately Ibaadah (worship) conscious. Person with taqwa will see everything he does as Ibaadah, even the mundane works like sleeping, feeding the family and so on. Hence, when this person interacts with his friends or parents or relatives or whomever, he doesnt see it as he is passing the time or wasting the time rather he will see it as Ibaadah of Naseeha (advice)
It is obvious that Ibaadah requires Ikhlaas (Sincerity). Level of Sincerity is further deeper than what Management Gurus suggest. There people are sincere to the one whom they are talking whereas here they are sincere to the one who created both of them. Who will give wrong advice when they focus on sincerity towards their Creator? This kind of sincerity and seeing things as an Ibaadah makes every interaction successful. Now are you able to relate why some people accepted Islaam at the hands of the Prophet in few minutes of interaction with him? They experienced this with the Prophet (Sallaalahualayhiwasallam)
Bring it in your life (Action Steps):
1. Work on Taqwa
2. Be Ibaadah conscious (When someone says “Give me a treat”, you should hear it as “You can host me and take sawab” – Ibaadah of hosting the guest)
3. Have Sincerity towards Allaah
4. Have Patience
5. Use kind words
May Allaah bless our interactions and make it like Prophet’s interaction
Fond Regards,
Umar Shariff
